Power yoga class at Maitri Yoga Studio Crowthorne
Wednesdays · 7am

Power Yoga

A strong, breath-led vinyasa class to wake the body up and clear the head. We move with intention, hold long enough to feel it, and build heat through the practice. Modifications offered throughout — strength meets the body where it is.

Hatha Yoga

A slower, alignment-led practice. Postures held a little longer, breath given a little more room. Hatha is the foundation — perfect for newer students, and a beautiful re-set for anyone with a busy week ahead.

Morning Flow

A breath-led vinyasa to ease the body open and set the tone for the week. Stronger than a slow flow, softer than power — a middle path. You'll leave feeling clearer than you arrived.

Slow Flow

The softest class on the timetable. Long holds, props encouraged, breath at the centre. Some weeks you need to push; some weeks you need to be held. This is the held version. Beginners welcome — you can't be "bad" at slow flow.

A few things to know

I've never done yoga before — is that okay?

More than okay. Hatha and Slow Flow are particularly beginner-friendly, but all classes have modifications offered throughout. Kathryn teaches in a way that meets each body where it is — you don't need to "be flexible" or "look like a yogi" to be welcome here.

What should I bring?

Water, something to move in, and your willingness to show up. The studio provides mats, blocks, blankets and bolsters — though you're welcome to bring your own mat if you prefer.

How early should I arrive?

If it's your first class, ten minutes early gives time to settle in, meet Kathryn, and set up your space. For regulars, five minutes is plenty.

What if I'm tired, on my period, or just not feeling it?

Show up anyway, or don't — both are valid. If you come, modifications and rest are always welcome. Yoga looks different on every body, and different on the same body from day to day. Rest is part of the practice.

How do I book?

All booking happens through Gymcatch — payments, class spots, blocks. Click any "Book" button on the site and it'll take you straight through.

Cancellation policy?

Cancel up to 12 hours before class for a full credit back to your block. After that, the class still counts — small studios depend on knowing the room. Thank you for understanding.
